Subsidized Memberships
The YMCA is able to offer financial assistance thanks to generous donations from individuals who believe in the values of the YMCA and have donated to our YMCA Annual Campaign.
If you are unable to pay the full membership fee for Y@HOME+, we encourage you to apply for a free, subsidized (virtual) membership. For subsidized memberships to your local, physical YMCA, please find your local YMCA, and ask them about the process.
Subsidized memberships continue for as long as needed, and applicants can re-apply to renew their membership at the end of each calendar year.
Memberships end December 31st each year. Please contact us in December to receive the code for the following year. You can use the form below.
How does it work?
Fill out the form below to ask about a subsidized membership.
If approved, you will receive a discount code to sign up for a membership for $0. Head to ymcahome.ca/join and click the “Join Y@Home+ Now” button, fill out the information and use the discount code provided. Please note that a valid credit card is needed, however, you will not be charged.
If you checked the box saying you don’t have a credit card, we will set an account up for you and give you access. Please note that in this case, we will require your mailing address, birth year, and phone number (with area code).
