Building Women’s Health, One Video at a Time

Women continue to be disproportionately affected by many chronic diseases including chronic pain, osteoporosis, and autoimmune diseases, especially as we grow older. Not only that, but as women, we go through very different life stages that often aren’t talked about, let alone studied, and there are significant gaps in women-specific research. All of this affects the diagnosis and care we as women receive.

The intersectionality between women’s health, fitness and nutrition has largely been under-studied and talked about, yet, it can have a huge effect on our health and how we feel as our bodies and priorities change.

As we celebrate International Women’s Day, we’d like to draw focus to our many health and wellness series featuring women-specific challenges and opportunities. Y@HOME hopes to provide opportunities for women to empower themselves to take charge of their health and wellness journeys. These videos were originally exclusive to members, but we’ll have them available to everyone for the month of March to celebrate International Women’s Day!

Heart disease doesn’t discriminate - it’s the leading cause of death among women worldwide.

Women have unique risk factors and symptoms when it comes to heart disease, and those living with heart disease are impacted by gaps in women-specific research, diagnosis and care.

Learn to inform and empower yourself to take charge of your heart health in this webinar with Katy Armstrong.
